Shaun served as a trained missionary with Jews for Jesus for 10 years before taking a different direction by establishing a career in operations for growth companies. However, his heart for evangelism to the Jewish people remained strong as did his connection to Jews for Jesus. In 2022, Shaun returned to our staff as global director of human resources.

Today, Shaun’s mission field experience is invaluable in his position, as he plays a key role in recruiting and evaluating new missionary candidates. His experience with growth companies has equipped him with insights into complex operational issues. He understands the principles and priorities of ministry and knows how to analyze strategic plans and put them in motion.

Shaun grew up in Brooklyn, immersed in Jewish culture, though neither his Jewish father nor his Puerto Rican mother raised him to be religious. While at university, he came to faith in Jesus and never considered it a rejection of his Jewish identity. But when an Orthodox man said that he was a disgrace to his family, Shaun began to wonder. As he was describing the experience, a Jewish believer in Jesus overheard and joined the conversation. She introduced Shaun to the ministry of Jews for Jesus, which helped solidify both his identity as a Jew and his belief that Jesus is the Messiah.

Shaun is married to Crystal, another Jewish believer in Jesus. They live in Tennessee with their three children.
